Below you can see my card I created with beautiful image by Jasmine Becket-Griffith called 'Butterfly Sunset'. Oh and when it comes to my fave embellies... well, I love all of them, I really cannot say which I love more; lace, ribbons, flowers, pearls and gems, twine, charms and many more...

As always a close up of the image below. I coloured this beauty with Copics. There is also some black lace I added behind the image. But it is hard to see on the photo because of the darkness of my creation.

Whiff of Joy Challenge - Love and Heart(s)

Hello everyone, hope you're doing fine. Today we have a new challenge for you over at Whiff of Joy Challenges. This time we want to see

LOVE and HEART(S)

After an idea from dear Flati I made my first mouse trap. Below you can see how it turned out.

And here you can see a close up of the image. I used 'Henry with large rose' and I coloured it with Copics.

When it comes to mouse traps... I found such a funny piccie in the internet. I show you below. It is soooooo cute!! Hope all mouses would be so clever that they wouldn't have to suffer while been catched in a mouse trap... in my opinion such a cruel thing!

Parrot Love by Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello dear friends and visitors, great to see you here!  Today I want to show you another project I made with one of the gorgeous images from the fabulous artist ching-chou kuik's available at Sweet Pea Stamps. This time I played with 'Parrot Love', and it is available on Plate # 226 together with three other beautiful images. I oh so love this plate! This image is also available as single stamp and as Digi.

I coloured this image with Copics, and added some sparkling to her wings. The background papers are from Bo Bunny.

Not that easy but quite challenging. As for me I made my first heart shaped easel card! And I had so much fun to make it. The newest Magnolia collection is perfect for it. I used two of my fave images from this collection for my card.

Whiff of Joy January Project - Bookmark

Hello everyone, hope you spent a wonderful Saturday so far, just as I did. I am planning to change some things in my craft room. I guess I have to take a week off for doing all this... :o). But I love to do, especially when everything is more tidy afterwards, which I really hope so. 

Today we are starting a new project at Whiff of Joy. The whole Design Team will show you projects to a theme, each month on the last Saturday. This time we all made bookmarks, and I am really amazed how different all of them are... wow!! You really have to take a look at it over at the Whiff of Joy World of Ideas Blog.

For my bookmark I used 'Henry Mouse hugging Heart', one of the very first Whiff of Joy stamps, and one of my all time favourites as it is useable for so many occasions. Then I used some brand new dies on my bookmark; Speech Bubbles and Leafs Trio.

Here's a close up of the image. I added some clear crackle paint to the heart.

Hello everyone, today I want to show you another card I made with one of the sweet Magnolias. This time I used Liberty Tilda. She is so fun to colour, just as the most of the Maggies. Some of the Magnolia Stamps are up to 40 % off at Bunny Zoe's Crafts!! 

I inked the image up with Copics. I tried out a new colour combo, a gamy one; pink and red, which I think turned out good. At least I love the look of it :o).

The papers I used are from Glitz 'Hello Friend'. It is on Sale now with 40 % off at Bunny Zoe's Crafts!! So hurry to get yours! I added some beautiful paper roses Dusty Pink to my card. The sentiment 'Friendship Tickets' and matching ticket die is from Whimsy. As additional decoration I added some gems and pearls to my card.

Under the Pale Moon by Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello everyone, today I show you another card I made with one of the newest and simply gorgeous images by ching-chou kuik's, available at Sweet Pea Stamps. It is 'Under the Pale Moon' and I love it so much, like everything with cats on them. I decided to keep her in grey and yellow tones, a combo I just love at the moment. This beautiful image is available on Plate # 232 together with three other gorgeous images, and as single stamp and Digi as well.

 I coloured her with Copics and added some white accents to her hair and some yellow sparkling to other parts of the image, like you can see quite good on the close up below.

Love is... and good News!

Hello my dear friends and fellow crafters. Hope you had a wonderful Sunday so far. Mine was fine, although I weren't able to craft as much as I loved to. But... I have to share some wonderful news with you; I have been chosen into the Design Team from Lovely Hänglar sweet Magnolia... how great is this!!! I am still so happy about it. 

Today we have a new challenge for you; the first one I am in... yay!! And we have a theme for you we all love, I know you will... We want to see...

RIBBON OR LACE

Easy huh? For my card I used my favourite image from the new Magnolia collection ... Bonny Tilda. The papers I used for the background 'Rose Romance' is from Magnolia as well.

Below you can see a close up of the image. I coloured it with Copics. I added some Stickles to her wings and hair.

The rolled roses are made by myself, die cutted with the English Rose die from Marianne D.. The heart tag is from Magnolia So Wrapped Lovely. And I thought this heart charm is a perfect addition to my creation.

Oldies But Goldies

Hello everyone... 7 am this morning, driving in my car on the road, it was snowing and it was dark, and an idea came into my mind...

Well... I was listening radio, and heard this song... a good old oldie, a golden oldie, long time no hear, but loved this song, and still love it... it is from the Hooters - Johnny B.

Then I had an idea...a while there was 'Music saved my Soul'... some of you may remember. I loved to show a favourite song and linked it up there now and then. And I thought, why not starting to share our favourite songs from years ago, songs you loved and still do, songs you have emotions when you hear them, songs you have memories with them, songs that are a part of your life, and always will be.

Whiff of Joy - King of Skies

Hello peeps, are you ready for another project I made with one of the new and just releases images from Whiff of Joy 'All about Boys'? I am sure you are, and I am sure you love those images as much as I do. You never again have to break your head with thinking about what image you can use for a man you want to create a card for. The new images from Whiff of Joy are simply perfect.

The card I show you below is one I made for a young man just celebrated his 17th birthday on the 6th January... therefore I stamped the date onto the card, too. As he is hard working to be a pilot for profession this image 'King of the Skies' is the perfect one. I also used some of the new dies from Whiff of Joy; 'Arrows', a set of 7 different shapes... just great for any kind of projects, and the Banner Border. And I also used one of the new sentiments 'Liebenswerter Schelm'.

 The image is coloured with Copics. The papers I used are from Simple Stories.

FAVORITE COLOR & USE LACE

I was in the mood to make a baby card, and Whiff of Joy haves so lovely images for this occasion from the 'We Are Family' collection. The one I used for my card is 'Precious'.  The baby sentiments is from Whiff of Joy as well. I just love its meaning; 'out of the tummy, directly into the heart - when love turns to life'. I don't have just one favorite color for my card making, there are so lovely color combos. One of them is pastel colors, what I used on my card you can see below.

I coloured the image with Copics. The background papers are from Simple Stories.

 I added a little stork as decoration.

The baby banner is made from a part of the papers, where it had those letters on it.

Whiff of Joy - Motocross

Hello and good morning my dear friends and visitors. I am sure you have noticed the brand new images available at Whiff of Joy now 'All about Boys'. And I am sure you love them as much as I do. They're really perfect for boys cards. There are not only new stamps, also fabulous new dies and sentiments. 

For my card I show you today I used 'Motocross'. I had so much fun to create this card. I also used some of the new dies 'Arrows'; 7 different shapes in one set. You can use them for so many occasions, not only for boys cards. The sentiment I used is from Whiff of Joy as well, a set 'Liebenswerter Schelm' with 10 different stamps.

The papers I used for my card is from Kaiserkraft 'Attitude!' and I think it is just perfect for boys cards. I inked up the image with Copics.

Whiff of Joy Previews Day 3

Hello and welcome to day 3 of the Whiff of Joy Previews. As you already have noticed the soon to be released images are themed 'All for the Boys'. Today I want to show you another image; 'Astronaut Henry'. Isn't he just so cute, sitting in his spaceship, jetting through the universe. I coloured this image with Copics. The banner is made with a Washi Tape. 

The sentiment is made by myself, using a part of a song lyric from a famous german song from the 70thies; Major Tom by Peter Shilling. I thought this saying is a perfect match to this image.
