Bird of Paradise by Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello everyone, after a two week absence from my craft desk because of health reasons I finally was able to create again. Missed it while that time. Today I have a new card I finished last weekend. The image already was coloured and waited to turn into a project. I had a play with one of ching-chou kuik's gorgeous images; 'Bird of Paradise', available at Sweet Pea Stamps. She is available as a single stamp, as a digital stamp and on Plate # 248 together with three other amazing images.

Whiff of Joy July Project - Summer Table Decoration

Happy Saturday everyone! It is the last Saturday of the month, and that means we from the Whiff of Joy Design Team will inspire you with a monthly project. This month we created a Summer Table Decoration.

Below you can see what I made; I used three small aluminum boxes where some cat food was inside. I glued some designer paper and washi tape around it and glued them together. In the center of them I added a small branch and glued some paper flowers on it. Henry with Large Rose is a perfect match to this project.

The little boxes are great to add some flowers like I did... I am really surprised how well they match... almost no difference to the paper roses on the branch, don't you think so? You also could add a tealight to each of the boxes, or some pebbles. Below you can see a close up of the image. Henry is coloured with Distress Inks.

Magnolia Sea Breeze Collection at Bunny Zoe's Crafts

Call Me Maybe

Hello and good morning everyone. Great to see you here! Today I want to share with you a creation I made with one of the newest images from Whiff of Joy. For my card I used 'Call Me Maybe'. She is such a sweetie! And the English sentiment is a part of the stamp. Isn't this just great? I added some of the 'French Vintage Postmarks' around the image. I also used the Vintage German Postcard stamp for the background of my card. The German sentiment is from the 'A Message for you' set. And so is the little arrows on the postcard.

I coloured her with Copics. On my card I also used one of the new Die-Lights from Whiff of Joy; the 'Staying in Touch' set' which comes with four different dies, useful for so many occasions. I just love this little telephone. A perfect addition to this image. They are currently out of stock but I am sure that Katharina will have them in store soon again.

Wheelbarrow Marci by Bunny Zoe's Crafts

Hello and good morning everyone, today I want to show you a card I made with one of the new and sweet images from La-La Land Crafts. I had a play with Wheelbarrow Marci. The sentiment I used on my card comes with the image... how great is this! I coloured the image with Copics. The papers I used for the background and for the banner is from Prima 'Zephyr'. The dies I used for the banner is from Whiff of Joy 'Banner Trio 2'. As only embellishing I added few roses to the banner. I didn't wanted to do too much embellishing as I think this sweet image goes so well with this papers and didn't wanted to cover too much of it.

What are little Boys made of

... this is the theme at Magnolia Down Under in the honour of Camilla's birth of a baby boy... my congratulations, Camilla!! This theme is in combination with a Tic-Tac-Toe board. For my card I used the row Sentiment - Cheese Cloth -Frantage. Well, another row does it too; 3 designer papers - Frantage - Dies.

I wanted to create a baby card with an unusual image for this theme. So I took out some older but not less sweet Magnolia images and played with them. Below you can see the result;

And here is a close up of the image. I paper pieced his dress. With a third paper I made the speech baubles. The sentiments are printed out with the computer. The coloring is made with Copics.

Sweet Pea Stamps meets Deep Ocean Challenges

The card I made is with one of the newest images by the fabulous artist ching-chou kuik's available at Sweet Pea Stamps. I had a play with 'Tropical Queen'. She is amazing... love her and she is much fun to create. She is available as a single stamp and on Plate # 248 together with three other gorgeous images. And she is also available as a Digi Stamp.

I coloured her with Copics and the Papers I used are from BoBunny. I also added some Fran'tage around the image.

I made my card with the Sketch from the Sketchy Challenges.

Mother and Baby Girl by Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello and good morning dear friends and visitors. At Sweet Pea Stamps we have Variations Week again. This week all of the Design Team had a play with the new Conie Fong images; either Mother and Baby Boy or Mother and Baby Girl. I decided to make a project with 'Mother and Baby Girl'.

As I use a Baby card now and then I wanted to add a German sentiment. It says 'a bit of mummy, a bit of daddy, and a lot of wonder'. Love this saying. This sentiment is from Whiff of Joy and comes from the 'Little Sunshine' set. I colored the image with Copics.

This image is available as a rubber stamp, and as a Digi too.

Flower Power at Lovely Hänglar Sweet Magnolia

Below you can see what I created to this theme... a very easy one as I use flowers on the most of my cards :o). I decided to make a monochromatic card. I paper pieced the dress and the hat of this sweetie and colored the rest of the image with Copics. To give it a Shabby Chic touch I added some Fran'tage around the image and distressed the edges.

Christmas in July at Whiff of Joy Challenges

Hello everyone, today we have a new challenge for you over at Whiff of Joy Challenges. This fortnight we want to see

CHRISTMAS in JULY

You never can be too early in creating Christmas projects, don't you think so? So this one is my first Christmas card for this year... more to follow soon as I just love to make them.

For my card I used 'Elf Maya and Kitty writing Santas List'. And I used following Die-Lights; Sledge from the 'Christmas Duo', 'Sweet Tags with Hearts' and 'Endless Hearts Border Die'.

The image is coloured with Copics. And I added some 'French Vintage Postmark Stamps' around the image.
