Deep Ocean Challenge meets Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello my dear friends and visitors. Great to see you here again. Over at Deep Ocean Challenges we have a new round for you. And we have a great theme for you. At least one I just LOVE... this forthnight we want to see

FANTASY

So many possibilities with this theme, don't you? For my project I used one of the fabulous images available at Sweet Pea Stamps. I made a more clean and simple card... well, for me it is, compared with the cards I usually make with lots of embellishing. But I thought this beautiful image has to stand for its own. It is from Helena Reis and is called 'Mending a Broken Heart'. It is available as Digital Image.

I made the image quite big and paper pieced her dress. The coloration is made with Copics. I addes some Stickles to her wings and some crackled paint to the heart... to let it look like a broken heart.

Alva Color from Bildmalarna Stamps

Hello everyone, today I show you a card I made with sweet Alva Color available at Bildmalarna. She is so beautiful and a pleasure to work with. The gorgeous papers I used are from the Soft Collection.

Below you can see a close up of the image. I colored her with Distress Inks. For once I stamped the image with brown ink which gives a totally other effect.

Artist of the Week at Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello there and welcome to our Artist of the Week at Sweet Pea Stamps. This week we from the team had a play with the gorgeous images by 'Charmaine Flannery'. I chose to create a card with 'Snowflake Owl'. This image is available at Sweet Pea Stamps as a Rubber Stamp and as a Digital Stamp as well.

 

 

I wanted to make a wintery card and used 'cold' colors for my project. I made the coloration with Copics and added some Stickles above her eyes... love her big eyes!

Whiff of Joy Challenge - Pink, Brown and Creme

Hello and happy day everyone! Today we have a new challenge for you over at Whiff of Joy Challenges. And for once we have a color combo for you... one of my faves...

PINK, BROWN and CREME

Love this combo. Below you can see the card I made, using one of the new and just released sweet images. I had a play with 'Owl love you dearly'. 

Here you can see a close up of the image. I colored it with Copics. As you can see here I added some glossy accent to the heart. I stamped some 'French Vintage Postmarks' around the image.

For the bunting I used the Banner Trio 2' Die-Lights. And look this sweet owl charm! It is from the 'Box of Charms - Owls'. Soooo great... many different owl shaped charms... LOVE them! This one I used have empty spaces where the eyes are, so you can add some matching pearls or gems, just as you wish to have to perfect match to the color scheme of your card. So I used two pink gems.

Mannequin for Bunny Zoe's Crafts

Hello and good morning everyone! Today I want to show you a card without a colored image for once. I thought this gorgeous Mannequin die from Marianne Design have to stand for itself. Doesn't each Mannequin want to be in the Spotlight? :o).

For my card I used the gorgeous new papers from My Mind's Eye 'Heirloom'. It is already sold out... no wonder... but I am sure Nikki will get it back in stock soon. The corners are the Anja's Vintage Corners from Marianne D too. I added some Iridescent Flat Back Pearls - Angel White onto the dress, and some bigger Flat Back Pearls onto the corners. I decorated my card with some Flowers.

Whiff of Joy January Blog Hop

Welcome to the January Whiff of Joy Blog Hop!

This is our first one for 2014 and we are starting off the year with a sweet, romantic theme. If you didn’t come here from SONJA's blog, then head on over to the start of the hop at Whiff of Joy Blog. I don’t want you to miss a single stop on this hop!

This month, Whiff of Joy is releasing heart-warming rubber stamp images along with some awesome mixed media collections and sentiment sets. We are sure that they are going to suit your Valentine stamping needs perfectly. Our die-lights for this month compliment our romantic theme and we know you are going to love them as well as our with our new charm sets!

For my project I used the sweet new bee image 'My Heart Bee-longs tou you'. It is such a cutie!! and I also used some of the gorgeous new Die-Lights; the 'Tiny Hearts - Pocket Page' and the 'Waterfall of Hearts'. The stamped camera is from the '2014' set. The big flower is made with the 'Nested Flower II'... I love this die!! It makes so beautiful selfmade flowers.

Below you can see a close up of the image. I made the coloration with Copics. I stamped some 'French Vintage post marks' around it.

I inserted a small paperbag behind the image and put a 'Love' lottery card into it. I also added some Frantage over the Waterfall of Hearts and the wooden heart.

Whiff of Joy Preview with the Sketchy Challenges

Hello and good morning everyone, have you seen those wonderful creations the team have made so far with the new product from Whiff of Joy available very soon? I also have another preview for you, using another one of the sweet bees. This cutie is called 'Bee Mine', and I also used several other new products; the Nested Heart Dies, the Alphabeth Dies Set and the 'Arrows and Hearts' Stamp collection.

Other Whiff of Joy products I used are; 'Fancy Hearts' border die, the sentiment is from the 'For You' collection., and the stamped heart in the die cutted heart is from the 'A Message for You' collection. The flowers are made with the 'Nested Flowers II'. Love them!! They make gorgeous flowers.

The image is colored with Copics and I used the new Sketch from The Sektchy Challenges you can see below...

Whiff of Joy Preview Day 1

Hello and good morning my dear friends, visitors and all creative peoples out there. Today at Whiff of Joy we start with the Previews of the next release... so many yummy new product available from the 20th January. Don't miss it!

Pocket Birgitta by Bunny Zoe's Crafts

Hello everyone, hope you're doing fine and settled well into the new year. Today I show you a card I created with sweet 'Pocket Birgitta' by C.C.Designs. I colored her with Copics and the papers I used for the background are from Kaisercraft 'Porcelain Rose'. I paperpieced the dress of Birgitta.

I embellished my card only a little with some paper flowers, some flat backed pearls, and some Camouflage buttons. The sentiment I used is from Whimsy from the 'Magical Mini Letter Seals' set.

Alva meets The Sketchy Challenges

Hello and good morning everyone. Hope you had a wonderful festive season. Wish you all a Happy New Year 2014.

Today I want to share with you my first project I made for this new year, and also my first project I made for the Bildmalarna DT. I had a play with beautiful Alva Believe from the new and fabulous Alva Collection from Bildmalarna. I love them all so much and they are so great to color. The text 'Have a wonderful Day' is from Bildmalarna too.

The papers I used are from Kaisercraft '75 Cents'. Below you can see a close up of the image where you also can see better the sparkling I added to her wings. I used Crystal Stickles for this. The coloring is made with Distress Inks.

I embellished my card with two Mini Flower Spray Cream and some Flat Backed Pearls.
