Deep Ocean Challenges - Favorite card 2014

Hello and good evening everyone! Welcome to a new challenge over at Deep Ocean Challenges. This forthnight we have a very easy theme for you and we look forward seeing many of you joining us. We want to see your favorite card 2014. Of course it have to be one you made by yourself. It's really hard to chose only one, but I go with this one you see below.

And we also have a little change; I will take over the Deep Ocean Challenge Blog and will run it from 2015. Wish me luck :-). I didn't want to see this fabulous challenge blog ending, so I will continue with it.

The next few days I will make a post with one fave card of mine for each month in 2014. So I hope to see you again here.

Christmas Trees for Whiff of Joy

Hello my dear friends and visitors. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and some lovely time you were able to spend together with your family. 

Well, although Christmas 2014 is past now I continued making a Christmas card as; After Christmas is Before Christmas :-). So I made this card in CAS style, using the gorgeous tree dies from Whiff of Joy. The sentiment is from the 'Festivities' Set in German.

Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone!!

 

Hello and good morning on a beautiful Christmas day. Today I am showing you a special project I made three weeks ago. I safed it until Christmas day to show you and to wish you a Merry Christmas with it.

It was so much fun to create this little Winter Wonderland together with my sister and a friend. A sight we would wish for here for this Christmas. We meet on a Saturday and we all created with the gorgeous MDF tree set from Dutch Dobadoo.

I found this cute sleigh in a shop. First i painted it with white acrylic paint and added some jute and a small log onto it. 

This beautiful deer is a finding in a shop too. I added the little bell with some twine.

For the ground I used some moss and added some white acrylic paint onto it. In the background I added a wooden fence from Dutch Dobadoo too.

The trees are covered first with the Structure Paste from Dutch Dobadoo and then with some white and Shabby Blue Frantage.

The Scent of Flowers

Hello everyone, today I want to share with you a non Christmas card I recently made. I love Vintage photos and for my card I used one from the 'Feathers and Fur' Collection from Crafts & Me. I made this card for the Crafts & Me Challenge where we have an easy theme 'Anything Goes'.

Little Companions for Ching Chou Kuik

Hi dear friends and visitors. Today I show you another inspiration I just made with one of Ching Chou Kuik's fabulous images. I had a play with gorgeous 'LITTLE COMPANIONS'. Isn't she just so beautiful?

The coloration is made with Copics.

A little birdcage is the perfect additon to this image... but all birdies are free!! Two of them are sitting on her head and on her hairstreak.

Christmas Bird for Whiff of Joy

Hello and good morning dear Whiff of Joy fans. Today I show you my newest card I made with one of the sweet Christmas birds. They are so cute and they are perfect for Christmas projects. I made a Christmas card, I guess one of the last Christmas cards for this year having Christmas in only few days...

And here you see a close up of the image. The coloring is made with Copics.

I am not satisfied with the photo quality. I had to make them with flash which I really don't like as it is not showing the real colors and it looks kind of washed out.

Bunny Zoe's Crafts Challenge - Buttons

Hello everyone! We have a new challenge for you over at Bunny Zoe's Crafts Challenge. This month we want to see buttons on your creation. This is what I made, using one of the super cute images from Bildmalarna. So sad that they stop creating those sweeties :-(.

The coloration is made with Distress Inks. This time I made a try in coloring the background different as I usually do.
