Selfmade Flowers at Deep Ocean Challenges

Hello everyone, today we have a new challenge for you over at Deep Ocean Challenges. This fortnight we want to see your 'Handmade Flowers'. I made a bigger project already few weeks ago. It is a present for the birth of the baby girl of a friend and neighbour. I made a toilet rolls album. See all the pages below:

Frontpage, using the lovely Die-Light 'Hallo Baby Duo' from Whiff of Joy.

Here I used the other perfect dies for a baby project from Whiff of Joy: the 'Bundle of Joy' Die-Light.

On all the tags inside I stamped different sentiments from the 'Little Sunshine' sentiment collection. Perfect for baby projects too. I forgot to make photos from them. And I cannot do anymore as I already gave the present.

Now we look forward seeing your projects with selfmade flowers.

Have a happy day.

Guest Designer at Live and Love Crafts & The Sketchy Challenges

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a great Halloween night and perhaps a party. I would love to go on a Halloween Party one day, weren't so far. But it must be fun. i love to dress for a special theme :-). My night was quite quiet, watched some TV.

I am so glad and feel honoured that I was asked by Sandy from the fabulous Live & Love Crafts Shop to be Guest Designer for the November Challenge. I very happily said yes and I created this card fro the theme 'Favorite Chrismas Color Combo'. I always love brown and creme tones for Christmas projects. And in general too. Here I added a hint of red for the coloring.
The same time we also have a new challenge at 'The Sketchy Challenges'. I created the Sketch for this month and chose the theme 'our furry friends'. So I realized both the Sketch and the two themes in my card.

Here's a close up of the image. I colored it with Distress Inks and added some Sparkling onto the stars. I stamped some 'French Vintage Postmarks' from Whiff of Joy and some Flourishes from the 'Vintage Garden' set around the image. Of course some white Frantage cannot be missed. The gorgeous frame die is from Noor! Design.

And below are some more detailed photos from my card...

This is the Sketch for you from 'The Sketchy Challenges':

I used following products from the Live & Love Crafts shop:

Maya Design Papers
Distress Inks
Tulle Pleat Trim
Lace 'Constance'
6 mm Jingles
Shabby Bark Hearts
Rolled Roses
Chrysanthemus
Love Pennant Clip

With this card I want to join following challenges:

Tilda's Town - Christmas, optional add a tag
Stamp and Create with Magnolia - at least two patternde papers

Now we look very much forward seeing you joining us at Live & Love Crafts Challenges and The Sketchy Challenges.

Have a happy weekend.
Hugs, Karina
