Whiff of Joy March Project

Hello everyone and good morning. Today we from the Whiff of Joy Design Team are showing you a monthly project again. This time we all created doorhangers. It is so great to see how different each ones look like. It is so inspirational. Go and take a look by yourself at the Whiff fo Joy World of Ideas blog.

Here you can see my project, using sweet 'Henry with Love Balloon'. I coloured him with Copics and paper pieced the balloon. I frantaged the butterfly border with white, pearl green and gold, which gives it a great effect. I love how it turned out. I really got a 'Franatic' in the meanwhile :o). As decoration I used two die cutted butterflies from the 'Cute Butterfly Trio' and some Vine Sprays.

I wanted to share some close ups too but just noticed that I already deleted those pics from my memory card before I safed them... :-(

Whiff of Joy Challenge - Butterflies

Hi again my dear friends and visitors. As promised I am showing you now what second challenge started today. YES, at Whiff of Joy Challenges we have a new theme for you, too. It matches perfect for spring time and I hope it will give you some spring feelings while making your creations although it looks more winterlike outside.

We want to see BUTTERFLIES on your project. Don't you love them as much as I do? They are a must on a springlike card or project in my opinion. Whiff of Joy have gorgeous Butterfly Die-Lights for you to play. I also used them on my card. The sweet image I had a play with is cutie Maya 'Thorny Greetings'. I also used the 'Sweet tags with hearts'. I love how this die-light comes with a big and a smaller tag. It is a wonderful combination as you can see on my card.

As always I also have a close up of the image for you... I added some pearls onto the butterfly and her hair tie.

I added a sentiment from this collection onto the tag.

For my card I used the sketch from 'The Sketchy Challenges' and want to join their challenge of course.

Crafts and Me Challenge - Pretty in Pink

Hello and good morning everyone! Hope you're doing fine and enjoy the day. Mine didn't start very well as I woke up with some migraines once again. How I hate this. And it often happen on my day off... sigh! That's the reason why I am a bit late with posting today. 

We have two challenges starting today. The first one is at Crafts and Me Challenges where our lovely host Vicky chose the theme

PRETTY IN PINK

For the card I created I used one of the new and gorgeous images by Zindy S.D. Nielsen. This one is 'Shh Now'. No wonder this beauty is currently sold out, but am sure it will be back in stock soon. So check again if you love her as much as I do.

 Below you can see a close up of the image. I coloured her with Copics and added some stickles to her wings.

Sweet Pea Stamps meets Deep Ocean Challenges

Hello and good evening everyone, oh my... it have snowed the WHOLE day today... I guess we'll have a White Easter this year, after we had a green Christmas... Still hope on what they forecasted for next long weekend, some higher temperatures and the sun shining through now and then. Let's see...

But to help you get some spring feelings we have a wonderful new challenge for you at Deep Ocean Challenge. We have following photo for your inspiration:

Don't you just become warm around your heart when you see those fabulous flowers and colours. I had so much fun to use those lovely pastel colours to create my project you can see below. I used one of the fabulous stamps from Sweet Pea Stamps. This beauty is called 'My Lovers Gone' and is by the great artist ching-chou kuik's. This stamp is available as single stamp and as Digi too. And together with three other gorgeous stamps on Plate # 208.

 I had a play with my Copics again and just love how she turned out.

 As you can see on my close up I made some white embossing around the image.

The little mermaid charm is a perfect fit for her.

Sweet Friends Marcy

Hello and good morning everyone. Have you seen that Bunny Zoe's Crafts haves the sweet La-La Land Crafts Marcies? They are so sweet and such a pleasure to colour. I used 'Sweet Friends Marcy' and I inked her up with Copics. The background papers I used is from Marianne D Fancy Flowers. As the papers is so beautiful with this bouquet of flowers I wanted to leave my card more CAS style. Just added a sentiment that comes with this stamp as well.

Hats Off at Simply Magnolia

Hello my dear friends and visitors, I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Today I have a new project to show you. The one I made for the new challenge at Simply Magnolia where we have the theme

HATS OFF TO YOU

So to join us your character on your project have to wear a hat. Crowns are accepted too! For my card I used this cutie Special Magnolia Stamp 'Bright Tilda'. I love her as she is useful for so many occasions. And I love her maritime touch.

I used the gorgeous Maja Design papers for my card. The image is coloured with Copics.

Maya Watching a Ladybug

Hello and good morning everyone, hope you're doing fine. The card I show you today is made with one of the sweet Simply Maya images available at Whiff of Joy. It is 'Maya Watching a Ladybug'. She is perfect for spring themed projects. I love this sweetie.

She is coloured with Copics and I stamped some 'French Vintage Postmarks' around the edges of the image.

For my card I also used some of the Whiff of Joy Die-Lights; Cute Banners Trio, Notebook Border and Cute Butterfly Trio.

My cats fave place

Hi everyone! Look what's the favourite place of my two cats Nino and Leilani... are you recognizing where it is? Yep... our dishwasher :-)). As soon as the door opens they both jump into it and sit there. They are only to elicit with their favourite goodies.

Cherish by Crafts & Me

Hello and Happy Wednesday! Today I show you some more inspiration with the newest and so beautiful images available at Crafts and Me. The first one I show you is made with 'Cherish' from Hannah Lynn. 

 

This time I wanted to give my project an indian and country touch and think I successed. At least I like how it turned out. No flowers this time which is quite unusual for me :o)

Hello and good morning everyone. Today I show you a card I made with the new Angelica & Friends Collection. I used sweet Florence for my card.

I coloured her with Copics and made some paper piecing for her skirt.

The background papers I used are from Marianne D Fancy Flowers and Magnolia Green Romance. For the decoration of my card I used a Marianne D bird on branch (the one I used isn't available anymore, but the one I linked is very similar to it). The heart tag is So Wrapped Lovely from Magnolia. The text ribbon Happy Birthday is from Marianne D. For some more decoration I used some craft flowers and some flat backed pearls.

Below you can see my project for this hop. I used Dare to Dream and Spring Sentiment and decorated a wooden heart with her. I just love how it turned out. It is already hanging on a wall at my home and looks great there.

I paper pieced the dress of her with some Maja Design papers and coloured the rest with Copics. I stamped some French Vintage Postmarks around the edges of the image.

The beautiful butterfly dies are from Whiff of Joy as well.

Lovely Hänglar Sweet Magnolia - Stitching

Sweet Pea Stamps Blog Hop

Have you seen those new amazing portrait images from Rebecca Sinz? They are so beautiful. I just love face images. They are a pleasure to colour. For my card I used 'Sweet Pea' and she is fabulous!! Variations Week at Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello everyone, yay... we have Variations Week again at Sweet Pea Stamps. I really love when everyone is playing with the same image and to see how everyone's project turned out. It always amazes me how different each artwork is although all are working with the same stamp.

This week we show you 'Dreaming of Aquamarine Tide' by the fabulous artist Katerina Koukiotis. She is available as rubber. Below you can see my creation;

I just love faces to play with, so this one was a big pleasure and a bit of a challenge too, as I wanted to add a kind of a shell pattern to her face what I made with some Frantage Mica Fragments and some iridescent Stickles. I really must say I love how it turned out. On the photo below you have a better view to this effect. The colouring of her is made with Copics and the background papers I used are Maja Design.

Crafts & Me Challenge - Ribbons and Lace

Hi again and good evening my dear friends and followers. I am a bit late with announcing another new challenge started today. I wanted to prepare my post yesterday. But my computer didn't wanted the way I liked. So it got too late to wait until my computer was deciding to work properly again. The early hour in mind I had to get up again I decided to go to bed and make my post today. So here I am :o).

Well, at Crafts & Me Challenges we have Ribbons and Lace we're asking about this week. Easy, huh? Have you already seen the brand new images by the fabulous artist Zindy S.D. Nielsen?? Ohhhhh.... LOVE them!!! You really have to take a look at them, too. I am so sure you will love them, too. And how funny that the most of the DT decided to play with Winter Rose first. I did not wonder why... If you want to have her by your own I guess you have to hurry up as it could happen that this sweetie will be a best seller and sold out soon. I created her more springlike like you can see below...

Whiff of Joy Challenge # 150 - Happy Easter

 Hello and good morning peeps. We have a new challenge for you over at Whiff of Joy Challenges. Only few weeks to go and we have Easter... so this forthnight we want to see your Easter creations. Below you can see mine, using sweet Henry's Easter Parade.

I created my card in a way you can use it as Easter decoration too. The colouring is made with Copics. Around the image I stamped some French Vintage Postmarks. Below you can see a close up...

Another close up of my embellishing... the banner border die from Whifff of Joy as well is great to add letters to it. Another die I used is the leafs trio. Then I also used a cork flower and a wooden clothespin I had in my stash for quite a while. Thought it would fit my card well. Like how it looks like.

Wonderful News!!

Hello my dear friends and visitors. Today I have some wonderful news to share with you. I have been asked to join the Deep Ocean Challenge team. And as this is one of my fave challenge blogs and always admire the projects the design team is creating every fortnight I hadn't a second to think about and said YES!!! YAY!!! When I saw this theme I imediately was thinking on this sweet stamp from Sweet Pea Stamps I wanted to use for my project; 'What Dreams Come True'  by the wonderful artist Katerina Koukiotis. I just love this sweet little fairy lying on the big bears lap.

 

Below you can see a close up of the image. I inked it up with Copics. The papers are Kaiserkraft. I used the butterfly and ticket dies and matching sentiment from Whiff of Joy.

Hello and good morning everyone. Today I want to show you a card I recently made with one of the shortly released new and sweet images from Whiff of Joy. The one I used is 'I will take care of you'. Such a cutie, don't you think so? She is perfect for get well cards.

I coloured her with Copics and the background papers are from Maja Design. The sentiment The Mini Postage Stamps set is from Whiff of Joy as well.

 I also used some Whiff of Joy dies on my card; the Cute Banners Trio, very useful for so many projects, and the Fancy Hearts Borders die. Some of the cutted hearts from the border I added to the banners. Love this effect.
