I created my card with one of the new images from Whimsy Stamps. I had a play with sweet 'Lissy's Little Light'. I coloured her with Distress Inks. The background papers I used are from Kaisercraft - Gingerbread. It is even on Sale now with 25 % off, and so is Lissy too! I think it is not a typical Chrismas image. You could use it for several other occasions too.

The image is coloured with Distress Inks. I surrounded it with some Vintage Postmark stamps from Whiff of Joy. I added some Diamond Stickles onto the light. Behind the image I addes some natural web ribbon. The flowers and flourishes are made with Marianne D's - Mistletoe dies. And I added some red Sonia Roses onto them. The sentiment is from C.C.Designs - AmyR Happy Christmas Sentiments. I die-cutted it with Whimsy Postage Stamp die.

Whiff of Joy Monthly Project August - Back to School

Hello and good morning everyone! Great to see you here. Today I have to share a special project with you. As you know we have a monthly project at Whiff of Joy World of Ideas, and this month we from the team created a 'Back to School' project. I decided to make a notebook. And... it was the first time I used my Zutter Bind-it-all. And... I had so much fun with it!!! Will use it soon again :o). Well, below you can see my book... quite some photos to see...

First here is the front cover...

Here you can see the inside cover... I used a very old school magazine I still had in my stash. It was called 'Jugend Born' and is from May 1926!! I cut and glued the year onto the front cover as you can see on the first photo in the right corner. To this time a yearly subscription has cost 2.40 Swiss Francs!!!

In the inside of my book I also added two pages of the magazine, beside of some designer papers I still had left from other projects.

All those stamps I used, also the text stamps are from an older Secret Kit. But they're still available as single stamps HERE.

Variations Week at Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello everoyne, we had Variations Week at Sweet Pea Stamps again... yay!! I loved to see what the team had created with the same image. This time we played with sweet 'Little Curls' from Elisabeth Bell. And I tried out something totally different this time; I stamped and colored on Linen. Really have to get more exercise in this, as the colors react so different on fabric. This was my first try, but I quite like how it turned out. Love the linen structure. As I wanted to keep the focus on the image I didn't add more embellishments than the die cutted and distressed key and some sweet little buttons.

On the close up below you can see the structure of the fabric much better...

Whiff of Joy March Blog Hop

Below you can see my project for this hop. I used Dare to Dream and Spring Sentiment and decorated a wooden heart with her. I just love how it turned out. It is already hanging on a wall at my home and looks great there.

I paper pieced the dress of her with some Maja Design papers and coloured the rest with Copics. I stamped some French Vintage Postmarks around the edges of the image.

The beautiful butterfly dies are from Whiff of Joy as well.

Glimmer by Elizabeth Bell at Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello everyone! Have you already seen those new and so sweet mermaid images designed by Elisabeth Bell available at Sweet Pea Stamps? I absolutely love them. So I want to show you a second card today I made with 'Glimmer'.

I coloured her with Copics. To give her some 'Glimmer' I added some Stickles to her tial and hair decoration. The papers I used are all scraps I had left.

Starr by Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello everyone, my dear friends and Sweet Pea Stamps lovers, today I want to show you a card I recently created with one of the newest Elizabeth Bell sweeties available at Sweet Pea Stamps. I just love those cute mermaids. This one I played with is 'Starr'.

I coloured her with Copics, and the papers I used are from BoBunny.

Little Peppermint Puff

Hi everyone, isn't he just the sweetest? This cute dragon is one of the newest images from the fabulous artist Elizabeth Bell. His name is 'Little Peppermint Puff'.  

I coloured him with Distress Inks. The papers I used are from Bo Bunny.

Teenie Tiny

Hi everyone, when I saw this little cutie sitting there under the big mushroom, available at Sweet Pea Stamps, I fell in love with her immedieately. Since few days I have her in my hands and had to play with her immediately. This sweet little fairy is from Elisabeth Bell's Twinkle Toe serie called 'Teenie Tiny'.

I coloured her with Distress Inks and gave some accents with Twinklings H2O. I love those colours as they give a bit of a shimmer which isn't sightable on the pics. I also added some yellow stickles to her wings which isn't to see very well.

Little Curls

Hi everyone and dear Sweet Pea Stamps lovers! I am so glad to have Elisabeth Bell as our new artist over at Sweet Pea Stamps, she is our featured artist this week. One of my favourite image of her is 'Little Curls'. Isn't she soooo sweet. I love her and she is so wonderful to work with.

I coloured her with Distress Inks on heavy 300 gram watercolour paper, stamped little flowers around the image. For the background I used papers by Bo Bunny 'Gabrielle'. The dies are Spellbinders and the flowers Wild Orchid.

DT Call bei Belles'n Whistles

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

nun gibt es doch noch eher ein neues Kärtchen zu sehen. Und zwar habe ich entdeckt, dass es bei Belles'n Whistles einen Design Team Call gibt. Und da ich doch alle Motive von Elizabeth Bell so liebe, konnte ich einfach nicht widerstehen mein Glück zu versuchen.
