Tomic Challenge # 17 - Get Inspired

Hi everyone and fellow crafters and cardmaking lovers. One of my fave challenge blog is TOMIC , the Official Magnolia Inspiration Challenge, and I want to join there regulary. Last week was too busy and I were not able to make a card for it. But this week I managed to make one. The theme is 'Get Inspired'. We have a Sketch AND a Photo Inspiration to follow. I love get challenged :o). Here is what I created;

Hot Weave

This beauty on my card is one of the fabulous Kenny K. images from Whimsy Stamps. She is called 'Hot Weave'. I coloured her with Distress Inks. For my card I wanted to use autumnal colours. 

The sentiment and the ticket die are from Whimsy Stamps as well. The papers 'Out of Print' from Basic Grey are perfect for it I think. I added some Sew Easy bakers twin where she stands on, and added some flags as well, which is a Magnolie Doo-Hickey die.

Sea Angel

Hi dear fellow Sweet Pea lovers. Hope you're doing fine everyone. Today I want to share with you a card I made with the image of the fabulous artist Renee Biertempfel called 'Sea Angel'. I love this image so very much. And the other images on the same plate # 144 are not less amazing.

I coloured her with Distress Inks. The papers I used are by the Printery Collection from Prima Marketing and Butterfly Garden Collection from Pinkpaislee. I distressed the edges and added some white Distress crackle paint on them.

Book Corner

Hi everyone, something I already wanted to do since quite some time is a corner shaped book mark. I tried this out this week. Look how it turned out below. I used this sweet stamp called 'Daisy Chain Melody' by Lemon Shortbread. I used scraps for my book corner and it is so fun to make them. And a wonderful possibility to use all your scraps you have left... who haven't them...

By the way... all the Lemon Shortbread stamps are on Sale now! The best possibility for you to rise your collection.

Christmas in September

Are you in the mood for making Christmas cards as well? I think you cannot start with it too early. So I created a card this week with this darling stamp by Wild Rose Studio. Isn't Milton in Hat such a cutie. For my card I used the gorgeous 'Wonder' Authentic designer papers. I paper pieced Miltons hat and scarf. The beautiful lace is by Marianne D Vintage Lace. And the lovely christmas tree charm you can find here. The bigger flower is a Prima Arcadian Flower and haves beautiful sparkles of glitter on it, which is perfect for a Christmas or Winter themed card. To give the hat of Milton a bit more dimension I added some structure snow and some glitter on it.

Hi everyone, back from our short trip to Munich and surrounding in Germany I want to show you another card today. This week I want to join the new TOMIC challenge again. Crafts and Me Challenge # 52 - Add a Heart

Hi peeps, how are you doing? Hope fine, just as I do... Today I want to show you another card. I made it for the new challenge over at Crafts and Me Challenges. We have a lovely theme

ADD A HEART

Hearts are so lovely all the time, not only on Valentines. I even used two hearts on my card, a heart shaped doily and the charm, which even have a third heart on it. This sweet image I used is 'Day of Joy' from Crafts and Me. I coloured it with Copics. 

And do you see this gorgeous lace?? I LOVE LOVE LOVE it so much. Luckily I found it at Ebay.

DECORATE THE INSIDE

I kept my card more clean and simple, so more different as my cards are usually. But I like it this way. 

I used an image by Whiff of Joy for my card. The colouring is made with Copics. And the cute Christmas tree charm you can find here.

And here you can see the inside of the card. I wanted to give it a kind of repetition which I made with the stamped image without colouring.

DT Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Winter Friends

Don't you love this image as much as I do? It is one of my favourite at the moment. It is from the new Gorjuss Girls serie and is called 'Winter Friend'. I coloured this sweet images with Distress Inks. This wonderful paper I used is from Kaisercraft called 'Secret Bird Society'. It haves beautiful colours and and what is so great with those pads, they have lovely die-cuts inside as well which are very useful. The pretty snowflake charm I used you can find here.

The Tower is calling

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that I am away for few days. We will visit this crazy building you can see below. It is a brewery made by 'Hundertwasser' architecture. I am looking very much forward to it. Will be back on Wednesday. I sheduled few posts so you will have something to look at here nevertheless while my absence. Hope it works :o). See you soon!

Wistful Fairy

When I saw this image from Sweet Pea Stamps for the first time I knew this beautiful fairy called  'Wistful Fairy' by the fabulous artist Teresa Sherman would be perfect for making a sympathy card.  And so I created following card. I coloured her in grey tones with Copics. The papers are by scrap works. I didn't want to add too much things to it, and restricted it to a bow, a charm and little bit of bling.

This fabulous image is available on Plate # 168 together with three more amazing images. But you can get it as a single stamp as well.

Female Beauty

Today I want to show you a card I made with one of my favourite images by Crafts and Me: the Pearls Swirl Mermaid by the fabulous artist Jasmine Becket-Griffith. I coloured her with Copics and it was quite challenging for me to colour her hair in different colours. But I like how it turned out. The papers I used here are by Crafty Individuals.
