Jayne Jettpack

Today I want to show you a card I made with one of the gorgeous Kenny K. images from Whimsy Stamps. Let me introducing Jayne Jettpack! What a sassy lady! The background papers are from Echo Park, from the 6 x 6 paper pad Everyday Eclectic. 

I coloured the image with Copics. For the border I used the Magnolia DooHickey Tilda Lace. And some Marianne D Vintage Lace in Christmas red as well. The sentiment and matching die is from Whimsy Stamps. As more decorations I added a heart charm, some buttons Fiesta, and some flat backed pearls.

Not very easy I find... but with a selection of gorgeous embossing folders my card turned out quite nice I think. I love dry embossing, have to use it more often in future. It gives an elegant effect to a project. So here we go with my card...

Hi my dear friends and visitors, today we have a new challenge for you over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenges. Although we have following theme

APRIL FOOL

it is no April Fool that we are challenging you with this theme... :o) Not quite easy... just make something to make us laugh, show us a joke or a funny combination of image and sentiment... I decided to go with a sassy lady and a suggestive sentiment :o). I played with 'Hot Fuzz'...

Here you can see my card I created, using Devilish Donna

I coloured her with Copics. And I added some Sparkle to her wings and hair.

I sew some wide lace to the background which I did the first time, and quite like how it turned out. It is some worldwide famous Swiss St. Galler lace.

As Valentines isn't far away anymore I made a love themed card out of it. Hope you like it.

Hi everyone and happy Sunday. Are you ready for a new challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge? I am sure you are. This week we want to see

STITCHING

This can be real and faux stitching, it is up to you. I used my newwwww sewing machine... yay! I love to be able to stitch real. It gives a card such a lovely effect. The sentiment I used is german and means 'take the time to enjoy the easy things of life'. 

I have this card with me this weekend at a craft fair and  a man said to me while he was looking at my card, I haven't chose a 'easy' thing on my card... well, playing guitar isn't really an easy thing I guess...oops... :o)))

Quite an easy thingy, don't you? For my card I used one of my fave Kenny K. images; Capt. Locke...RRRrrrrrr... :o)). The paper I used is perfect for this image I think. I couldn't imagine to put her to the spotlight any better. Although I didn't know for a long time for what I could use this paper. But when I saw this hot and sassy image I knew immediately :o))

Hi everyone! Hope you're doing fine. Are you enjoying this wonderful sunny and warm autumn weather as much as I do? So lovely... it is just like I love it. It could be that way all year long :o)

Today we have a new challenge for you over at the Kenny K's Krafty Girlz. The theme we have this week is

and use at least two images for your project. Quite challenging huh? But fun! I surely had as it was the first time I used two of those images on one card. Hot Weave

This beauty on my card is one of the fabulous Kenny K. images from Whimsy Stamps. She is called 'Hot Weave'. I coloured her with Distress Inks. For my card I wanted to use autumnal colours. 

The sentiment and the ticket die are from Whimsy Stamps as well. The papers 'Out of Print' from Basic Grey are perfect for it I think. I added some Sew Easy bakers twin where she stands on, and added some flags as well, which is a Magnolie Doo-Hickey die.
