Just for the Girls at Lovely Hänglar Sweet Magnolia

Hello and happy Sunday everyone! Today we have a new challenge for you at Lovely Hänglar Sweet Magnolia. We want to see your creations 'Just for the Girls'. I made a maritime style card and love how it turned out. The new Magnolia Dies from the first secret kit are perfect for this.

I made the coloration with Distress Inks. And I stamped some French Vintage Postmarks from Whiff of Joy around the image.

New Ching Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspirations and Challenge Blog

Today is a VERY SPECIAL DAY as it is the launch of Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration and Challenge Blog.

Ching-Chou Kuik is a very talented lady who creates such wonderful images.  These are available at her Etsy Store at:

Here you will find a wonderful selection of images which include witches, spooky, gothic, cats, dogs, birds, insects, various animals, mermaids and the ocean.  Throughout the month new images will be added to the Etsy Store so please make sure you check it out frequently.

In addition to the Etsy Store there is a Facebook Group where the Design Team share their cards/creations but then anyone that creates something with Ching-Chou Kuik's digital stamps can show their cards/creations too.  The Facebook Group can be found at:

On 1 October 2014 there will be a monthly challenge starting here on this blog.  The rules of the Challenge Blog will be simple. They are pinned to the blog sidebar for ease of reference.

 

In between the days that you will see cards/creations from the Design Team you will see:

Details of any new images that will be available in the Etsy Store
Details of any special offers that will be available at certain times of the year.

The Design Team also think it would be a nice idea throughout the month to showcase cards/creations that are entered into the challenge or added as inspiration onto the Facebook Group.  When I first started out in cardmaking I would have loved to have seen my cards on a blog so we are sure many of you crafters will enjoy it to.

As you will see from this post there is going to be a lot going on throughout the month.

Mimosa Christmas Flower Basket for Bildmalarna

Hello and good morning everyone! Have you known... Christmas is coming in fast steps. And it's time to get everything prepared so you're ready in time. As for me, I prefer to have an early start in making my Christmas cards. The new collection of sweet Christmas stamps from Bildmalarna is perfect for this.

The card I am showing you today is made with cutie 'Mimosa Christmas Flower Basket'. I combined her with the sentiment 'May Peace Joy'. I love those gorgeous Deer Charms. They are available in Silver and Bronze too.

I colored her with Distress Inks and added some sparkling on the flowers.

We have this time again, days get shorter. I am not satisfied with the photos as I had to take them with flash light. I prefer daylight as the colors are much better and natural so I always try to be in time with creating my cards to be able to photograph them on weekend while the day. But this is not always possible.

Vintage Autumn at The Sketchy Challenges with Maya's Kitty

Hello everyone, at The Sketchy Challenges we have the theme 'Vintage Autumn' for you. And a Sketch as usual. It's up to you if you like to use theme and Sketch or just one of it to join and having the chance to win a prize. You still have some days to enter. This is the card I made for our September challenge, using sweet 'Maya's Kitty chases Mice' from Whiff of Joy;

I colored the image with Distress Inks. I stamped some 'French Vintage Postmark Stamps' around it. The sentiment is from the 'Happy Halloween' set. And I also used the 'Notebook' Border Die-Light.

Celia for Crafts and Me and Deep Ocean Challenges

Hello everyone, today I am sharing my latest card I made with one of the beautiful Hannah Lynn imgaes available at Crafts and Me. Her images are available as Rubber Stamps and as Digital Stamps. The one I used for my card is 'Celia' available as Rubber Stamp. She is gorgeous and so fun to color. I wanted to keep her in autumnal colors.

I also made this card for our new challenge at Deep Ocean Challenges where we want to see 'At least one Flower'.

The coloration is made with Copics.

Mimosa Amaryllis on a Present Easel Card

Hello and good morning everyone, today I want to share a special project with you I just made this week. I created a present easel card. You can find the tutorial for it on the Noor! Design Germany Blog. Such a present card is the theme for their September challenge and of course I also want to join. It is so much fun to do.

I used one of the super sweet new images from Bildmalarna for it 'Mimosa Amaryllis'. More infos about this card shape you find on my blog.

The frame die is from Noor! Design, and so are the swirl dies. The coloring is made with Distress Inks.

 The sentiment 'Kissmas' from Bildmalarna is the perfect match to this card.

At this point I also have to announce the happy information that I got chosen for being guest designer at Noor! Design Germany for the month October... yay! Makes me so happy!!!

Bebunni Christmas Story for Bunny Zoe's Crafts

Hello and good morning everyone. Today I have sweet Bebunni from Crafters Companion to share with you. I had a play with 'Christmas Story'. I also used the matching Bebunni Christmas paper.

The coloration is made with Copics. The Christmas banners are stamped with the Kaisercraft Christmas Carols Clear Stamps. They are on sale for 60 % off at the moment! I also used some buttons and Flat Backed Pearls on my card.

Whiff of Joy Challenge - Back to School

Hello and good morning everyone! Great to see you here. Today we have a new challenge for you over at Whiff of Joy Challenges. This fortnight we want to see a project following the theme

BACK TO THE SCHOOL

I kept my project in Vintage style as I so love this. I created a template in form of a wooden slate. I stamped some text and numbers onto the slate and embossed it with white embossing powder. The ABC is made with the Alphabet Die-Light. It is great for each project to add names and more. And I added some dies from the Stying in Touch Die-Light set.

Below you can see a close up of the colored image. This image and the text and numbers on the slate is from an older Secret Kit. But you also can get them as single stamps. I used 'I love school' and the sentiment from 'On time for class'. The coloring is made with Distress Inks. I added some Glossy Accent on her glasses. They look matt on the photo because I wasn't patient enough to wait until it dried fully before I made the photos... :-). Now the look clear! For embellishing I also used some Petaloo Vine Spray Creme.

I used sweet 'Alva Rose' and wanted to keep her black and white with a touch of color. I love how she turned out. I added a birdhouse charm to the hidden heart tag. Those and many others are on sale. Deep Ocean and Whiff of Joy Challenges

Hello everyone, great to see you here. Tonight I have to announce you the new challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge. This fortnight we have following theme for you

VINTAGE

The same theme we also have at Whiff of Joy Challenges. So I made my project with one of my fave image from Whiff of Joy, sweet 'Wee with reindeer'. This stamp is on sale now, and it also can be won when you join our challenge. The tag is made with the 'Large Nested Tag Die-Light'. I stamped a sentiment from the 'Glaube, Liebe, Hoffnung' set onto the tag. It's one of my fave text set for Christmas.

The coloration is made with Copics. I stamped the image with brown ink and colored it in black and white.

I added another reindeer. I embossed it and put some white Frantage onto it.
