a different card for once

Hi everyone, I had to make a sympathy card as my boyfriends aunt passed away last week. Tomorrow the funeral will held. I didn't wanted to make it in black, as Valerie was so full of joie de vivre. So I chose copper as the main colour combined with some darkbrown, creme and black. The stamped rose and the sentiment is wet embossed with copper as well. The sentiment is written by hand. 

It was a bit different to take a picture as the background paper with the swirls on it is glossy.

Lily of the Valley

Hello and happy day! The sun is shining today and so I want to share a springlike card with you. 

This lovely little fairy is called 'Lily of the Valley' and is from the Rachel Andersons Collection at Sweet Pea Stamps. Isn't she so cute?  I love this image so much. She is so fun to colour.

Here is my DT card. I'm not very happy with it, because of the quality of this aquarell paper. It haves too much texture and so the stamping result and the colouring as well is not what satisfy me.
