Deep Ocean Challenge - Something Old

Hello and good evening everyone! Hope you're doing fine. After a bad migraine I got yesterday morning and feeling very sick because of this still today I am a bit better now in the evening.

But nevertheless some good news... I bought myself a new computer as a Christmas present for myself. My old one was so poor and it often drove me nuts because of not working how it should. I spent hours and hours with it just with waiting until he is doing something again. Now I have a much faster one and LOVE it. And I have a much wider screen... so cool!! So with much pleasure I am writing this first post on my new computer.

Sweet Pea Stamps Blog Hop

Have you seen those new amazing portrait images from Rebecca Sinz? They are so beautiful. I just love face images. They are a pleasure to colour. For my card I used 'Sweet Pea' and she is fabulous!! She is available as a single stamp and on Plate # 242 together with three other gorgeous images. And she is available as a Digi too. Had so much fun to play with her.

Here you can see a close up of my card. As mostly lately I coloured her with Copics. The background papers are from Bo Bunny.

Variations Week at Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello everyone, yay... we have Variations Week again at Sweet Pea Stamps. I really love when everyone is playing with the same image and to see how everyone's project turned out. It always amazes me how different each artwork is although all are working with the same stamp.

This week we show you 'Dreaming of Aquamarine Tide' by the fabulous artist Katerina Koukiotis. She is available as rubber. Below you can see my creation;

I just love faces to play with, so this one was a big pleasure and a bit of a challenge too, as I wanted to add a kind of a shell pattern to her face what I made with some Frantage Mica Fragments and some iridescent Stickles. I really must say I love how it turned out. On the photo below you have a better view to this effect. The colouring of her is made with Copics and the background papers I used are Maja Design.

Shhh Mommies Here from Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello everyone, I was asked to make a baby card and immediately was thinking on this sweet image from Joanne Schempp 'Shhh Mommies Here' available at Sweet Pea Stamps. I so love this image and it is perfect for a baby card. She is available on Plate # 178 together with three other beautiful images, and as single stamp and Digi as well.

I coloured her with Copics and added some Sparkling to her and baby's tail. I wanted to use a German Sentiment from Whiff of Joy, from the 'Little Sunshine' collection. The text means 'When a star is falling down from the sky, a new born baby is seeing the light of day'. I love this sentiment.

Mystery - Variations Week at Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello everyone, we have variations week again. This time we all from the design team created with Anna Marine's fabulous image called 'Mystery'. It is available as a single stamp, as Digi, and on Plate # 186 together with three more beautiful images. I am so curious to see what everyone has created. I wanted to keep my card in black and red tones, so I also coloured the image in those colours. I did the colouring with Copics.

Sweet Little Red

Hello everyone, hope you're doing fine. Today I want to show you a card looking more spring like. I used one of the newest images by ching-chou kuik's called 'Sweet Little Red'. I love this little scene with the cute fox on her arms. This image is available as a single stamp and comes together with three other beautiful images on Plate # 226. And you can get it as Digi as well HERE.

I coloured the image with Copics. I added some sparkling to her hair. The background papers are from Basic Grey Porcelain.

In the Pumpkin Patch

Hi dear Sweet Pea Stamps lovers just as I am, time for another Halloween inspiration, although Halloween is already over since few days. But hey, it is so much fun to create them. The card I show you today is made with one of the gorgeous images by Teresa Sherman. It is called 'In the Pumpkin Patch' and you can find her on Plate # 215.together with three other images and a sentiment. This beauty is available as a single stamps as well.

 I coloured her with Copics. The background papers I used are from Memory Box.

Hello everyone, I am still in the mood to create Halloween cards, too soon it is over again. So still time to make one. Sweet Pea Stamps haves the most gorgeous Halloween themes images to create your personal projects. The one I used today is from the fabulous artist Rebecca Sinz, and this beautiful image is called 'Gothic Moon'. I LOVE her!! And the cat silhouette in front of the moon looks so great. Vampire

Hi everyone, hope you're doing fine just as I do. Some of you may know that I am into dark and gothic style. So I just fell in love with this amazing image called 'Vampire' from the fabulous artist Anna Marine. She is available at Sweet Pea Stamps as a single stamp, but on Plate # 207 together with three other amazing images.

I coloured her with Distress Inks and I knew from the beginning that the background haves to be very dark to make her look deep into the night.I had to cover several time with the Distress to get it that dark.

Hi everyone, hope you're doing fine. The card I want to show you today is made with one of the newest fabulous images at Sweet Pea Stamps by the amazing artist ching-chou kuik's. I coloured this beautiful image with Distress Inks. The papers I used for the background are Memory Box. The Dies for the branches and the tag is Magnolia.

Dispair

Hi everyone, hope everyone is fine. Spring is back here which is just so great. The card I want to show you today is made with one of the newest images by the fabulous artist Rebecca Sinz. It is called 'Dispair'. I love this image... who doesn't who loves angels like me. It is available as a single stamp. And together with three more amazing angel images on Plate # 205.

I stamped the image with brown ink that it looks a bit lighter. Then I coloured it with Copics. The papers I used for the background are Reprint, and the dies are Spellbinders.

Jewelled Fairy

Hi everyone, hope you're doing fine! Today I want to share with you a card I recently made with this beautiful fairy image called 'Jewelled Fairy' by the fabulous artist Teresa Sherman. She is available as a single stamp, and together with three other amazing images on Plate # 192.

I made quite some paper piecing on this image this time. The rest is coloured with Copics.

I only added some scraps to my card and little butterfly.

Poppy from the Mist

Hello everyone! Today I want to share a card I made with one of my fave images by the fabulous artist ching-chou kuik's. I love this one so much, it is a newer one called 'Poppy, from the Mist'. It is available at Sweet Pea Stamps as a single stamp, but comes as well on Plate # 199 together with three more gorgeous images.

The papers I used are Glitz 'Pretty in Pink', the corner dies are Marianne D. I decided to not add any more embellishments as I wanted to keep the focus on this fabulous image and the decorative corners.

Family Portrait

Introducing Bella

Look this cute little bear holding a heart shaped balloon in his hands... isn't this the perfect Valentines image? Not only, it is very useful for other occasions as well like birthdays, weddings and more.

I coloured Bella with Copics. The background papers are from Authentique. The heart border die is from Magnolia and for the corners I used a die from Sizzix.

This sweetie is called Bella and is from the fabulous artist Conie Fong, available at Sweet Pea Stamps on plate # 198 together with three other cute images. But you can have Bella as single stamp as well. Conie Fong's new sheet is on pre-order now to a nice price!
