Hi everyone and happy Sunday. Are you ready for a new challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge? I am sure you are. This week we want to see

STITCHING

This can be real and faux stitching, it is up to you. I used my newwwww sewing machine... yay! I love to be able to stitch real. It gives a card such a lovely effect. The sentiment I used is german and means 'take the time to enjoy the easy things of life'. 

I have this card with me this weekend at a craft fair and  a man said to me while he was looking at my card, I haven't chose a 'easy' thing on my card... well, playing guitar isn't really an easy thing I guess...oops... :o)))

TOMIC Challenge # 25 - Animal Mania

Over at the TOMIC The Official Magnolia Inspirations Challenge we are asked for an animal on our creation. I guess the only animal stamp I have is the frog. I love frogs. For this challenge I created a little fairylike mirror where the cute little froggie cannot be missed. And hey, there is even a second one, in lil Fairy Tilda's hands :o)

Beautiful Holly Fairy

Hello dear fellow Sweet Pea Stamps lovers. One of my most favourite image of Sweet Pea Stamps is definitely the beautiful 'Holly Fairy' by the amazing artist ching-chou kuik. She is such a pleasure to colour and perfect for any Christmas cards and projects. Remember, I used her on my candle as well. This time I made a card with her. You can find her on plate # 60 together with three other fabulous images and is available as a single stamp as well.

Here's a close-up of the image. I coloured it with Distress Inks.

Crafts and Me Challenge # 62 - Shabby Chic / Vintage

Another challenge is starting today. At Crafts and Me Challenges it was my turn to chose a theme. And as I love it so much I decided for 

SHABBY CHIC / VINTAGE

I often create my cards in this style. It is so much fun to torn and scratch the edges, adding crackle paint and white acrylic paint here and there. I think those cards look so soft and elegant. For this card I made for the challenge I used another gorgeous image by the new artist at Crafts and Me Janna Prosvirina. I love her images so much. This one is 'Night Blossom'. Isn't she so beautiful?

I added some pearls as well to give it a more elegant look

I painted some white crackled paint over a metal corner which I think looks very shabby chic
