As you know today is the 29th February, which only happens once every four years, we decided that it was pretty special that our challenge fell on this day! So, our challeng is themed around the word LEAP...

Hi everyone! Hey... do you know what day we have today?? A day who comes only all four years... the 29th  February. Lucky those who have their birthday today as they have the chance to celebrate it this year. I know a little girl who has and am sure she might be very happy today :o)

I made an round easel card and used one of my still unused Maggies. I love how she sits there on this clock. It is not nessecary that your card haves a round shape. Bubble Fun

Hi everyone! Right now I am really very hooked on monochromatic colouring, especially grey tones and sepia, like I coloured this sweet image from Wags'n Whiskers called Bubble Fun. I love the result. I added a little bit of pink to give a tiny accent. I coloured this cutie with Distress Inks.

As background paper I used Basic Grey's Kissing Booth. The little hearts are from this papers as well, I just cut them out and added them as an embellishment. The Swirls are Magnolia DooHickey's Heart Swirl and to decorate the corners I used some Flat Backed Pearls. As an additional decoration I addes some Marianne D flowers and Mini Open Roses.

Autumn Colours at Make it Colourful

Hi my dear friends and visitors. Today I have the big honour to join the new Make it Colourful challenge as a guest. How great is this? I were so happy when they asked me to join. And of course I said yes as I love those digis they have. There is also a little questionnaire about me, if you like to read just make a jump to Make it Colourful.

I chosed two images to play with. The first one is Metal Shroom I used as background. In front you can see Racing Rick. Aren't they so great? I love them and I think they go so well together. For getting a better look at the image and my colouring just click on the pic below.

I coloured my image with Copics.

Black and White Colouring

Hi everyone my dear friends and visitors. How are you doing? Just fine I hope. I must confess that I really got hooked by black and white or monochrome colouring. And I wanted to give it a try at one of my favourite images by Crafts and Me, at Janna Prosvirina's Clematis. And I love the result. What about you? I coloured her with Distress Inks. I also love this sentiment from Whimsy Stamps. It is so accurate.

I combined a bit of yellow touch for the background of the image as this way it doesn't look to much like a sympathy card.

Corner Bookmark

Hi everyone, today I want to show you a little corner bookmark I made with one of those sweet High Hopes stamps. This one is called Lockheart Bear. Isn't he too cute? He haves the perfect size for making those bookmarks. I love them for using by myself and they are always a very welcomed little gift for someone who loves to read books.

I coloured this cutie with Copics. The papers I used for the background are My Minds Eye Lost & Found Madison Avenue. The heart border is Magnolia DooHickey Romantic Lace. And as an additional accent I added a made with love heart charm.

Deep Down The Sea

Hi dear Sweet Pea Stamps Lovers, and those who will in future... sooner or later you will love those gorgeous images! Most of you may know the gorgeous images by the amazing artist ching-chou kuik's as beautiful women portraits. But did you already have seen those fabulous animal images by her? Today I want to show you one of it, Seahorse. It is available as a single stamp, but also on Plate # 79 together with three other beautiful animal images. 

I love those images so much as they are so much fun to colour. I coloured the Seahorses with Copics. I think the needed some bold colours. The papers I used as background are Imaginations. First I wanted to make a more clean and simple card with this image. I think this would look great as well, and perhaps the image would get a better focus. Will try next time.
