Norma J. Burnell's Spring Witch Owl by Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello dear friends and visitors. Today I show you another creation I made with one of the fabulous images by our new artist at Sweet Pea Stamps Norma J. Burnell. The one I played with this time is 'Spring Witch Owl'. Althought it is called spring witch I wanted to make her more autumnal in orange, yellow, red and green colours.

I coloured her with Copics. The papers I used are from Graphic45.

Mia's Kit for Bunny Zoe's Crafts

Hello and good morning everyone! Today I want to show you my first try in doing a CAS card... not that easy for someone like me who likes lots of stuff on a card. But I quite like how it turned out. I thought this little sweetie from C.C. Deisgns 'Mia's Kite' have to be on a CAS card to get her the fullest attraction she deserve. I paper pieced her with Carta Bella 'True Friends' papers and used the same for the background. The sentiment is from the 'A Touch of Elegance Furniture' collection by Whimsy Stamps.

I coloured the rest of the image with Copics. Below you can see a close up.

Norma Burnell's Hoot Owl by Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello everyone! Have you already seen those amazing new images by the new fabulous artist Norma Burnell available at Sweet Pea Stamps? I will show you some of them from now on and am sure you will love them as much as I do. They are a big pleasure to colour and to create. The first one I show you today is 'Hoot Owl'. I decided to keep her in brown and green colours.

I coloured this beautiful owl... I love owls!... with Copics. The background papers I used are Graphic45.

Hello my dear friends and visitors, where have the time gone? May is almost over and so sadly this is my last project I made for Magnolia Down Under Challenges as guest designer. I am so in love with this colors at the moment; aqua, mint, blue and so on, and thought it would be a perfect combo for this two images I combinated. Below you can see some close ups;

I coloured the image with Copics and Fran'taged around the edges... love this effect!

Monthly Project at Whiff of Joy

 

Hello and good morning everyone! It is the time of the month again where all of the Design Team at Whiff of Joy created a project to a theme, our monthly project. This month we all had to 

ALTER A NOTEBOOK

Below you can see what I made... I thought this little sweetie sitting on the sofa reading 'Cosy Reading' is perfect for the cover of a notebook. I wanted to make her quite colorful.

The image is colored with Copics. The papers are some left overs. I also used the cute banner trio die-light.

Just watch all the other gorgeous notebooks the other teammates created and feel inspired.

For once I haven't made a card, but a totally special project; I decorated a cigar box. Look how it turned out below... it's picture heavy :o). For once I also haven't used a stamped and coloured image, but a vintage portrait photography. I love how it turned out. It will be a birthday present for the sister of my partner in two weeks and know she will love it. And know that she isn't following my blog, so I already can show here :o)

Key to the Door for Bunny Zoe's Crafts

Hello and good morning everyone. Today I share a card with you I made with one of the sweet new Sarah Kay images 'Key to the Door'. The background papers are from Carta Bella 'True Friends'. The postmark sentiment stamp is from the 'Hello Hal Hej' set from Whimsy Stamps. I LOVE all kind of postmarks as they give a great accent to each card. The beautiful flowers are from Prima 'Song Bird'. I also used some Light Pink Web Ribbon and Pink Organza Ribbon. As an additional accent I added some Clear Round Gems to the corners.

Variations Week at Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello everoyne, we had Variations Week at Sweet Pea Stamps again... yay!! I loved to see what the team had created with the same image. This time we played with sweet 'Little Curls' from Elisabeth Bell. And I tried out something totally different this time; I stamped and colored on Linen. Really have to get more exercise in this, as the colors react so different on fabric. This was my first try, but I quite like how it turned out. Love the linen structure. As I wanted to keep the focus on the image I didn't add more embellishments than the die cutted and distressed key and some sweet little buttons.

On the close up below you can see the structure of the fabric much better...

Now I am curious to read what you think about it.
